Web chat widget availability and embed setup
The BizRnR web chat widget is not included in the current self-serve AI Receptionist plan. Some legacy, contracted, or Enterprise accounts may have it enabled. If you do not see web chat settings in your dashboard, contact support before adding website code.
What the widget does
When enabled, the widget drops a floating chat bubble onto your website. Visitors can ask questions, leave contact details, and start a conversation without calling. The same support and business facts that help your AI receptionist can help the chat respond accurately.
Where to find the snippet
For enabled accounts, open Dashboard -> Settings -> Web chat -> Install and copy the script snippet. The exact snippet is tenant-specific. Do not copy a snippet from another account.
Install locations
Most site builders support a footer or custom-code area:
- WordPress: theme footer, tag manager, or a custom HTML plugin.
- Shopify: theme layout or custom pixel path approved by your theme.
- Webflow: Project Settings -> Custom Code -> Footer.
- Squarespace or Wix: Settings -> Advanced -> Custom code.
- Custom HTML: before the closing
</body>tag.
Test after install
After publishing your site, open an incognito browser window and load the page. Confirm that the bubble appears, opens, sends a test message, and creates a conversation in BizRnR. Then remove the test lead or mark it as internal.
Common issues
Bubble does not appear: the code is not published, the site builder stripped the script, or a content security policy blocks the loader.
Bubble appears but chats fail: the tenant identifier is wrong or the widget is not enabled for your account.
Wrong branding: update branding settings and refresh your site cache.
No conversations in CRM: confirm the test message included contact details and that CRM capture is enabled for the widget.
Need access?
Open Dashboard -> Support and ask whether web chat is available for your account. Include your website URL, expected monthly chat volume, and whether you need chat to create contacts, tickets, or booked appointments.
